Are you looking for a last minute, quick and easy side dish for Thanksgiving? Look no further! This month I’ve been sharing my favorite Thanksgiving recipes, and today I’m sharing the only dessert-type recipe that I make other than pie.
Last year I was looking for a way to use all my leftover homemade cranberry sauce and came across this great, and incredibly easy recipe from Jamie at My Baking Addiction. It makes a great side dish for Thanksgiving and literally takes a couple of minutes to put together!
All you need is crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, cranberry sauce and cool whip! I used a jar of homemade cranberry sauce in place of store bought canned cranberry sauce. The recipe is pretty forgiving. I used half the suggested cool whip and probably close to double the cranberry sauce and it was still great.
