This is my lunch today. And tomorrow. And probably the next day. In fact, I’ve been having soup for lunch for a month now. I love soup! Today I am sharing my top 5 favorite soup recipes:
Crock Pot Minestrone
I’m a huge fan of Gina over at SkinnyTaste.com. I’ve made so many of her recipes and everyone in my family loves them (and has no idea that they’re healthy!).
Her crock pot minestrone soup is to die for! It’s so good, and so easy. I love anything that I can throw in the slow cooker and forget about until dinner time. Head on over to SkinnyTaste.com for the full recipe!
Ok, I’ve used this soup for dieting in the past, but it’s good even if you’re not on a diet! This recipe is so versatile. You can really throw whatever veggies into it and it turns out great every time. I like to add beans for protein and I usually use a full head of cabbage. I like to freeze this in individual portions for lunch prep! Go here for the full recipe.
Copy Cat Panera Broccoli & Cheddar Soup
Panera’s broccoli cheddar soup is my absolute favorite, and this recipe meets my high expectations! If you’ve never had the pleasure of eating at Panera, you don’t have to miss out! For the full recipe, head over to cicnyshopper.com.
One Pot Chicken & Dumplings
When I first got married, I’d never had chicken & dumplings. In fact, this was the first recipe I ever tried for this amazing soup and it’s still my absolute favorite! Head on over to MarthaStewart.com for the full recipe.
Creamy Squash Soup
This is another Fall favorite. I love winter squash, and this soup recipe utilizes all the best flavors of Fall. It’s great with grilled cheese sandwiches or some crusty bread. To get the full recipe, make sure you visit PaulaDeen.com.
